Cookie policy
Which cookies and similar technologies this site and Compass Platform use, and how to control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include browser local storage, which web applications use to keep you signed in and remember preferences.
2. Cookies and storage we use
Cookie consent (myAppCookieConsent) — records that you have seen and accepted the cookie banner. Strictly necessary.
Authentication tokens — when you sign in to Compass Platform, AWS Cognito tokens are kept in browser storage so that each request can be authenticated. They expire and are removed when you sign out. Strictly necessary.
Preferences — your light or dark mode choice is stored locally so it persists between visits. Functional.
Analytics session (administrators only) — opening the Analytics tab of the admin panel sets a short-lived session cookie for the embedded Grafana dashboard, valid for 15 minutes. Strictly necessary for that feature.
3. Analytics and advertising
We do not use advertising cookies. [Confirm whether any third-party website analytics is used; if so, name it here and describe the opt-out.]
4. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting existing cookies and blocking new ones. Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent you from signing in to Compass Platform.
5. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the cookies we use change.
